The award carried a memento, cash prize of Rs. 3 lakh and a certificate. Sangeeta Padmanabhan (‘Charulata.. A Sequel of the Life Untold’) bagged the Special Jury Mention Award of Rs. 2 lakh while Umesh Aggarwal got the certificate of appreciation from Jury. In Environmental Competition Babu Kambrath (‘Kaippad’) and Suma Josson (‘Niyamgiri You Are Still Alive’) shared the Vasudha Award of Rs. 3 lakh, a memento and a certificate.
